"Just wanted to write you a note to tell you how satisfied I am with my Salsco chipper. I purchased the Model 627XT PTO Chipper with hydraulic feed and speed sensing, based on your recommendation and the look of strength in the Salsco unit compared to other brands. I was apprehensive making such a large purchase without seeing the chipper in person, but I found I didn’t have a thing to worry about. A friend that makes his living working with metal said this thing should last a lifetime. In the field it is a workhorse, matching perfectly with my 50 HP John Deere tractor. Getting the hydraulic feed was a great decision – I just put limbs and small trees in the hopper and walk away to get more. But I can’t take credit for that decision, since my wife told me she wanted me to have the safety features the system includes. Anyway, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. But I can’t close without recognizing the great people at Salsco - from the Receptionist, to the Inside Sales Person, to Sal himself, the owner of the company – y’all really know how to take care of folks. "I first saw the 627XT being towed on a trailer so I contacted Salsco to learn about it. All of my questions were fully answered. I particularly like the capacity of the infeed. When I visited Salsco I received a great tour of the factory. I looked at the Bear Cat and the Bandit but chose Salsco. The chipper is everything we need and performs even better than we expected.
