Salsco Limited Warranty

Salsco, LLC machines are designed to provide many years of reliable and trouble-free service when properly installed used and maintained. THE FOLLOWING IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Salsco, LLC warrants that its machines will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of up to 2 years from the date of delivery to the end user when the machine is completely registered on-file at Salsco, LLC. This registration can be completed on-line at www.salsco.com/register.

 

If Salsco, LLC has no warranty registration on file, then the warranty is six months from the Salsco, LLC documented manufacturing date. Salsco, LLC will repair or replace any defect found due to faulty material or manufacturing workmanship. Warranty work will be performed either in the user’s site, or at the option and expense of Salsco, LLC the part or complete unit may be returned to Salsco, LLC for servicing. Salsco, LLC shall not be responsible for damage caused by misuse, careless handling, improper maintenance, shipping damage, acts of God or where repairs have been made or attempted by others.

 

Salsco, LLC reserves the right to make changes in design, construction, or materials on all machines and products without notice. No one other than an officer of Salsco, LLC acting in writing is authorized to assume any liability on behalf of Salsco, LLC or impose any obligation upon it in connection with the sale of any product other than what is stated above. FOLEY NON-WARRANTIED PARTS: Engines, are warranty by OEM (e.g., Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Hatz).

Warranty Policy – Non Green Rollers

To register your Salsco product, scan the QR code provided or visit www.salsco.com/register to complete the warranty registration form. Please note that warranty claims cannot be processed without a completed product registration on file.

Your Salsco Commercial or Turf Equipment product is designed and manufactured for commercial or industrial use. Salsco warrants to the original purchaser that, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase — or ninety (90) days if used for rental purposes — it will repair or replace, at no charge, any part manufactured by Salsco that is found to be defective in material or workmanship. All transportation or shipping costs associated with warranty service are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If, during the applicable warranty period, the product fails to function properly due to a manufacturing defect, please contact Salsco and follow the Warranty Procedures outlined in this manual.

This warranty does not cover:

• Incidental or consequential damages, and it excludes all implied warranties.

• Normal maintenance items, including but not limited to hoses, chains, belts, filters, lubricants, and similar components.

• Parts or components covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty, including but not limited to engines, pumps, and motors.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To ensure your warranty claim is processed promptly, please follow these steps:

Machine or Part Failure

a) Contact Salsco Service: Call our Service Department for assistance with troubleshooting or repair instructions. Preventive maintenance recommendations may also be provided.

b) Retain Old Parts: When ordering warranty replacement parts, you must keep the original parts until you receive instructions from Salsco regarding their return or disposal.

c) File Within 30 Days: Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of completing the repair. Contact our office to request an electronic Warranty Claim Form.

d) Complete the Form Accurately: Fill in all required information, including purchase date, company name, address, and details of the repair. List all parts used with correct part numbers (refer to your manual) and provide a clear description of the issue (e.g., “leaking from spool” rather than simply “leaking”).

e) Timely Response: Salsco aims to review and decide on all warranty claims within 30 days of receipt. Promptly respond to any requests for additional information. Claims with no response within 90 days of inquiry will be closed as “Denied for Lack of Response.”

f) Submit Your Claim: Send the completed Warranty Claim Form to our Warranty Department by email, fax, or mail. Do not discard replaced parts until Salsco provides a final determination regarding their return.

g) Return Authorization: If part return is required, our Warranty Department will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number with instructions. Parts must be returned within 30 days of RA issuance. Freight charges for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Note: Normal pre-delivery adjustments are not covered under warranty. Labor reimbursement is limited to reasonable time allowances as determined by Salsco. Travel time is not covered.

h) Prepare the Shipment: Place the RA form inside the box and clearly mark “Return of Goods” along with the RA number on the outside of the package.

i) Ship Securely: Use a traceable, insured shipping method (such as UPS Ground). Salsco cannot issue credit for uninsured parts lost in transit.

Note: Incomplete or inaccurate warranty claim forms will delay processing and may result in denial of the claim.
